SGV officially signed a contract with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to provide consulting services for the Preparation of the Updated Master Development Plan of Bonifacio Global City (BGC). The ceremonial contract signing was held on 15 January 2026 at the BCDA Office in BGC.
The project focuses on preparing an updated Master Development Plan for BGC that reflects current conditions, evolving market trends, and planned infrastructure developments. Under this engagement, SGV serves as lead consultant, overseeing the overall project management and delivery in collaboration with specialist consultants covering the planning and technical, legal, and real estate components.
The ceremonial program opened with welcome remarks from BCDA Conversion Development Group Officer-in-Charge and Senior Vice President Engr. Mark P. Torres, followed by a message from SGV Chairman and Country Managing Partner Rossana A. Fajardo. The ceremony proceeded with the formal contract signing and concluded with closing remarks from BCDA President and CEO Engr. Joshua M. Bingcang.
Also present at the event were Bonifacio Estate Services Corporation General Manager Architect Ernest Pascual and partners from Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation.
Following the ceremony and luncheon, the SGV project team, including Strategy and Transactions (SaT) Partner Marie Stephanie C. Tan-Hamed, who serves as Deputy Team Leader and Financial Analyst; Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) Partner Katrina F. Francisco as Deputy Environmental and Social Development Specialist; SaT Senior Director Alma Angeli Placido-Domanico as Economic Specialist; CCaSS Associate Director Joshua Ladia as Environmental and Social Development Specialist; and SaT Senior Associate Cedric Jon D. Manzano as Technical Assistant Manager, conducted a project kick-off meeting and site visit around BGC to mark the official start of this engagement.
Representatives and key experts from SGV’s partner consultants joined the SGV project team, including Team Leader and Master Planner Michael Koks, Urban Planner/Landscape Architect Nick Espina, Infrastructure Specialist Faustino Abad, Transport Planner Klervin Collado, Real Estate Market Specialist Paul Ramirez, and Annika Kay Chan on behalf of Legal and Policy Expert Michael Acaban.
