SGV & Co. joined Bacolod Business Talks 2025 on 11 December at the Fisher Hotel, Bacolod City, supporting efforts to enhance the business environment in the city.
The event opened with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Doing Business in Bacolod publication. SGV Chairman Wilson P. Tan, Deputy Managing Partner and Strategy and Transactions Leader Noel P. Rabaja, and Assurance Leader Cyril Jasmin B. Valencia represented SGV during the signing with Bacolod City Mayor Greg G. Gasataya.

Also present to witness the signing were Government & Infrastructure Sector and Economic Research Leader and Strategy and Transactions Partner Marie Stephanie C. Tan-Hamed, and Assurance Partner and Markets Leader for Bacolod and Iloilo Djole S. Garcia. This collaboration aims to produce a comprehensive publication that provides valuable insights into the business climate, investment opportunities, and regulatory framework in Bacolod City, serving as a resource for both local and foreign investors.

Following the MOA signing, SGV led a session on Connected Futures – Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Mobility in a Growing City. Marie Stephanie discussed the macroeconomic and business outlook for Bacolod, providing insights on opportunities and trends shaping the city’s growth. The session offered valuable perspectives to support informed decision-making in Bacolod’s evolving business landscape.
