SGV Tax Partner Atty. Anne E. Momongan-Lim served as one of the speakers at the 2026 European Honorary Consuls’ Meeting, organized by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), on 23 January 2026 at the Citadines Hotel in Cebu City.
Atty. Anne delivered an insightful discussion on the Legal Perspective of the Business and Regulatory Landscape in the Philippines. She highlighted key updates on Philippine laws and regulations affecting businesses and provided clarity on how these changes shape investment and operational decisions. She also elaborated on the 2022 Strategic Investments Priority Plan, and incentives available to investors under the CREATE MORE Act and green incentives under the Renewable Energy Act.
The event was attended by distinguished speakers, including ECCP Cebu Business Council Co-Chair and Mercedes-Benz Group Services Philippines, Inc. President & CEO Marc Wittkowski, ECCP President Paulo Duarte, EU-ASEAN Business Council Executive Director Chris Humphrey, Region VII Department of Economy, Planning, and Development Chief Economic Development Specialist Neil Andrew U.
